Special Theme: 1967.  From Vietnam to the Six Day War to Detroit muscle cars, 1967 was an iconic year, and our special theme will be to build models representative of the era.  With PzKpfw IVs in Syria, T-34s in Egypt, M-3 halftracks and M4 Shermans in Israel to the most modern vehicles and aircraft, 1967 saw the transition from the last of the WWII era vehicles to the height of the Cold War.

  1. Dylan, juniors are 17 or younger; 18 or above are in the senior class. I should also add that junior entries are free.

    1. Thanks, but what if I, as a junior, wanted to enter some of my better models in the adult category? Would I be charged as an adult?

  2. Ron, not at this time. We decided against an out of the box category early in the year, but no one thought to ask about 100% scratch built. But good news is we have our meeting tonight, and I’ll bring it up. Please check back here later to see whether we add a scratchbuilt or not.

  3. Ron, we discussed the 100% scratch built and decided that since so few are entered, there will not be a dedicated category. But if we get three or more, the head judge may decide to split out and form a seperate category.
