B-25 Mitchell in 1:48 scale. Andrew painted the model in a "what if." During WWII, the 3,000 P-38 was painted orange and used as a trainer; Andrew asked what if the 5,000 B-25 was painted blue? Brian and Adam Gerges, of Hackettstown, NJ showing off their first models. Adam (on left) built a SR-71 Spyplane; Brian built a Tiger I tank. Both kits were snap-tight kits, and the boys painted them themselves. Good job! A 1/48th scale Russian SU-35. The kit was from a Chinese company, and Sarah had to focus on filling seams and joints to make a presentable model. The paint job is really attractive, and is something not seen everyday. The model took 1st Place in the Junior Aircraft division of KC Con 2005. Built from a Tamiya kit in 1/35th scale when Alex was 16. Alex focused on his building techniques as well as the camouflage and weathering. The model took 1st place in the Junior Armor division at the KC Con 2005.
