Nana's Hobbies and the Prison City Model Club will be hosting a model contest on 16 June at 211 B Delaware Street in downtown Leavenworth.

       

Entry fees:

       Adults: $5.00 for three models, and $2.00 for each additional

       Junior: $2.00 unlimited entries.

 

Categories will be:

               Senior class: age 18 and older:

Aircraft, Armor, Figures, Automotive, Space Craft, Naval, Diorama, and Miscellaneous

 

              Junior Class, age 17 and below.  All models.

           Trophies will be awarded for first place in each category, and ribbons for second and third.  There will also be a model selected by the judges as "Best in Show;" and from the junior and senior class as "Best Out of the Box."

Schedule of Events:

    9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.--  Registration open

    11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.-- Make and Take.  Open to modelers 17 and below until we run out of kits.

    12:00 to 2:00 p.m. -- Judging room closed; raffle drawings during this time in Nana's Shop. 

    3:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony

 

    no later than 4:00 p.m.-- all raffle prizes claimed.  Prizes not claimed by this time will be raffled to those people still in area until all prizes are claimed.

 

Sponsorship-- individual sponsors needed for model categories.  Sponsorship is for the first place trophy, second and third place medals.  Please contact Pam at Nana's Hobbies for information and cost.
